X-Ray Applications Lab

Albireo Technologies has a fully equipped X-ray experimental facility, which we make available to the customers as an applications lab, for component testing and technology feasibility demonstration.

The available technical capabilities include:

  • Two NELCO X-ray cabinets (82”x33”x29”) rated for energies up to 250 kV

  • A custom-built shielded X-ray cabinet (44”x44”x44”) rated up to 200 kV

  • Multiple X-ray sources (up to 225 kV)

  • CMOS flat-panel X-ray detectors for low-noise imaging

  • Low-noise, high-resolution linear detectors for transmission X-ray imaging

  • Motorized translation stages

  • Computers and electronics for data acquisition

  • Software development support for system integration and testing

  • Mechanical fabrication tools

  • Assembly and testing workstations.
